MOTIF PATTERN BY SYEDA IFFAT SULTANA MATERIALS: Cotton yarn or any type of yarn Crochet Hook Size: 3mm or any size of hook ABBREVIATION: Beg = beginning Ch (s) = chain( s) Dc = double crochet Sl st = slip stich Sp = space Rep = repeat START: ch 6, sl st in 1st ch to make a ring. Ch 3 always count as a dc. Row 1: ch 3 ( count as dc), 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, rep 2 times more, sl st in 1st ch 3 ( 4 3dc sets and 4 2ch). Row 2: sl st in next 2 dc and 2 chs sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same ch2 sp, ch 2 3 dc in same ch 2 sp, ch 2, ( 3dc, 2ch, 3dc) in next 2 ch sp, rep 2 times more, sl st in 1st ch of ch 3 ( 4 sets of 3 dc, 2ch, 3 dc). Row 3: sl st in next 2 dc and ch 2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, 2 ch, 3dc in same sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc, 2 ch, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, rep 2 times more, sl st in 1st ch of ch 3. Row 4: sl st in next 2 dc and ch 2 sp, ch 3, 2dc, ch 2, 3 dc in same ch 2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp, rep 3 more time...

Simple Basic Potholder

Simple Basic Potholder I made this potholder 5 or 6 years ago and found during sort out the old things, so I want to share the pattern with you, which is very easy. MATERIALS: Cotton Yarn: 1 Ball of 50 grams Crochet Hook Size: 3 mm OR 3.50 MM You can use any type of yarn and size of hooke. You can also use scrap yarn for this potholder . ABBREVIATION: CH ( s )= chain(s ) EA = each HDC = half double crochet LP( s) = loop( s) SC = single crochet SL ST = slip stich ST ( s) = stich (s) INSTRUCTIONS: Ch 31 or 41. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in ea ch ( 30, 40 sts). Ch, turn. Row 2: sc in ea st to end.( work only in back lps ). Repeat row 2 40 times or desire length. EDGE: Row 1: Sc in ea st , 3 sc in last st ( to make corner ), repeat 3 more times.( do not work in back loops). Repeat row 1 , 2 more times. Ch 15 in last st ( corner), sl st in 1st ch, sl st in every ch. Cut yarn and weave in.

ABBREVIATION: Beg= beginning Ch(s)= chains(s ) Dec= decrease Ec= each Hk= hook Inc= increase Lp( s) = loop(s) Pm= place marker Rep=repeat Rnd(s)= round(s) Rs= right side Sc(s)= single crochet(s) ScF= single crochet foundation Sk= skip or skiped Sl st= slip stitch St(s)=stitch(es) Tog= together WS= wrong side YO= yarn over Instructions: Start: 6 sc foundation , or if you like ch 7, Row 1: ch 1, 2sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc .(do not turn and work down side of foundation ). R0w 1: 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc ( 16 sc total). Place marker. (work only upper side of ch, 2sc in 1st ch, sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in last ch, work down side of ch, 2 cs in last ch ( 4 sc in 6th ch) , sc in next 4 ch and 2 sc in last ch, 16 sc.) Row 2: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2sc in next sc ( 8 sts)...
