MATERIALS:



Cotton Thread


Hook size: 1.50 mm



ABBREVIATION:



ch(s) = chain(s)
dc = double crochet
ea = each
rep = repeat
sc = single crochet
sp = space
st(s)= stich(s)
tc/trc = treple crochet





INSTRUCTION:



Ch 6, join.



Row 1: ch 3( count as dc), 2dc, ch 2, 3dc in the ring, rep around, join in 1st ch ( 4 sets of 3dc).

Row 2: ch 5, skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, ch 2( dc, ch 4, dc) in ch 2 sp, ch 2, dc in next dc, skip next dc, dc in next dc, rep, 2 times, join sl st in 3rd ch.

Row 3: ch 3, 3dc in ea ch 2 sp, 6 dc in ch 4 sp, rep around, join in 3rd ch of ch 3.

Row 4: ch 5( count 1dc,ch 2),dc in 3rd dc, ch 2, skip 2dc, dc in next st, ch 2, dc in 3rd st, ch 4, dc in next dc, rep around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of ch 5.

Row 5: ch 1, 3 sc in ea ch 2 sp, 7 sc in ch 4 sp, sc in ea st to next ch 4, 7 sc in ch 4 sp, 3 sc in next2, ch 2 sp, sc, ch 4, sc in next ch 2 sp, 3 sc in next 2, ch 2 sp, 7 sc in ch4 sp, 3 sc in next 2, ch 2 sp, sc, ch 4, sc in next ch 2 sp, sc in next 2 sp, 7 sc in ch 4 sp, 3 sc in next 2, ch 2 sp, join with sl st in ch 1.

Row 6: ch 1, sc around to next corner ( 3 sc, 2sc, 3sc in corner’s 7 sc ), sc in next 3 sts, skip 3 sc, 8 trc in ch4, skip next 3 sc, sc in next 3 sc and in corner’s sc, ( 2 sc in 4th sc in corner), sc in next 3 sts, skip next 3 sc, 8 trc in ch 4( yarn over 2 times on hook), skip 3 sts, sc in next 3 sts and corner( 2 sc in 4th sc in corner), sc in ea next 6 sc, join with sl st in ch 1.

Row 7: ch 1, sc to 2nd corner and in corner, ch 2, tr, trc( yarn over 3 times on hook) in ea trc( ch 2, tr,trc, 8 times), skip 2 sc, 4 sc, 2sc in next sc, sc in ea next 5 sc, ch 2, tr, trc in ea trc ( 8times),sc in corner and around, sl st in ch 1.

Row 8: ch 1, sc sc around to center sc of 2nd corner, tr, trc in last sc of the corenr and 3 tr, trc in ch 2 sp ( 8 times), skip 5 sc( corner or center), sc in center st, skip 5 sc, tr, trc in last sc of center( heart center), 3 tr, tr c in ea ch 2 sp, tr, trc in 1st sc in last corner, skip 5 sc, sc in ea st around, sl st in ch 1.

Row 9: ch 3, sc in 1st ch, skip next st, sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in 1st ch, rep around, sl st , cut yarn and weave in.

I am crocheting this heart and am confused on row 7 where you have "tr" and "trc" abbreviations. I know what a "trc" is (treble crochet)but what is a "tr"? Thank you for your help

When you make trc stich, you wrap yarn on hook 2 times, tr, trc, I wraped the yarn 4 times on hook( you can wrap the yarn 3 times also)in row 7.

KUFI / CAP

I made this crochet kufi/ cap for my husband . I use the tapestry crochet technique for changing colors . Cotton yarn : Light brown, Brown 1 ball ea ch, 50 g or color you like. (8/4) Crochet hook nr: 4mm. I used hook nr 4mm but that is not a large size hook its look like nr 2.50 mm and 3 mm. ( see in fhoto). Chain: ch Single crochet: sc, Slip stich: sl st. Increase: inc. Decrease: dec. Continue : cont. Light brown: A Brown : B You can use one size small or large hook and do more increase or decrease sts rounds to fit the size. For colore change, always use tapestry crochet technique. When you have 2 loops on hook ,pull the new color and sc with new color and keep doing like this technique and try to carry yarn like this technique . V NECK SWEATER

I knit this sweater in 2003 for my hubby. I don’t remember what was the measurement, but try to write down the pattern for arm and neck shapping. I knit with black and gray colors. I used nr 3.mm and 3.50mm knitting needles and nr 3mm circular knitting needles 40cm length. You can use any type of yarn and nr of needles, you can also adjust sts for fit your size. Cast on co Bind off bo Increase inc Decrease dec Knit k Purl p Stitches sts. Main color mc Contrast color cc Continue . cont. FRONT: Co 110 sts mc and k one row with the mc. Row, 1 . k1, p1 to end and change to cc. Row 2. K 1 on k st and p 1 on p st with cc. Continue these 2 rows until you have 25, rows. Change to mc and inc 10 sts even: ( 120 sts) Row 1, k all sts, Row 2, p all sts K until 4 inches less ,to desire length to under arms holes.
