INSTRUCTION:

Row 2: ch 3,dc in next 2 dc, ( 2dc, ch2, 2dc) in ch 2 sp,rep 3 times more, join in 1st ch.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Ch 37.

Row 1: 3dc in 4th ch from hook, skip 3 chs, sc in next ch( 4th ch), ch 3, 3dc in next ch, rep to end, sc in last ch, turn.( 7 sets of, 3 chs and 3 dc shell).

Row 2: ch 4, 3dc in 4th ch, sc in next ch3 sp, 3dc in same sp, rep to end.

Row 3 to Row 40: rep Row 2. Cut yarn and weave in.

SIDES OF BAG(make 2):


Ch 17.

Row 1: 3 dc in 4th ch from hook, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch( 4th ch), 3 dc in next ch, rep to end, sc in last ch, turn( 3 sets of , 3 chs and 3 dc shell).
Row 2: ch 4, 3 dc in 4th ch, sc in next ch 3 sp, 3 dc in same sp, rep to end.
Row 4 to 15: rep Row 2. Cut yarn and weave in.

Join sides with sl st or sew. Right side faceing you.

Count 15 rows and pin up the side pice (from starting point)on 16th row and through row 21( now you can see that the one side is larger than the other side and these
sides shll be join with the side pice). Pin up both sides and pin up the 2nd pice on the other side of the main pice.

( Now work on the right side faceing you )

Join yarn with sl st on the one side of side pice, ch 1 and sc from one side to the end of the 1st pice. Join the 2nd pice same as the 1st pice.
Join yarn with sl st, ch 1, sc around the top of bag and sides of bag, join with sl st in ch 1. Ch 1 an sc in same st, ch 3, skip 3 sc , sc in next st, rep all around the top of bag and both sides of bag, sl st in ch 1. Ch 1, sc, 3dc, sc in ch 3, (sc, 3dc, sc) in every ch 3 sp, sl st in ch 1. Cut yarn and weave in.
Make a loop at the middle of the top for button , join with sl st, ch 15, sl st in 1st ch to make a ring, sl st in evey ch and sl st in the begning sl st, cut yarn and weave in. Sew a button.

I made this potholder 5 or 6 years ago and found during sort out the old things, so I want to share the pattern with you, which is very easy.

MATERIALS:


Cotton Yarn: 1 Ball of 50 grams
Crochet Hook Size: 3 mm OR 3.50 MM

You can use any type of yarn and size of hooke. You can also use scrap yarn for this potholder.

ABBREVIATION:


CH ( s )= chain(s )
EA = each
HDC = half double crochet
LP( s) = loop( s)
SC = single crochet
SL ST = slip stich
ST ( s) = stich (s)


INSTRUCTIONS:


Ch 31 or 41.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in ea ch ( 30, 40 sts). Ch, turn.
Row 2: sc in ea st to end.( work only in back lps).
Repeat row 2 40 times or desire length.

EDGE:


Row 1: Sc in ea st , 3 sc in last st ( to make corner), repeat 3 more times.( do not work in back loops).
Repeat row 1 , 2 more times. Ch 15 in last st ( corner), sl st in 1st ch, sl st in every ch. Cut yarn and weave in.

MATERIALS:

Baby Yarn: 1 Ball of 50 grams
Baby Yarn: Small amount in matching color.
Crochet Hook Size: 5mm.

ABBREVIATION:

Beg= beginning
Ch(s)= chains(s )
Dec= decrease
Ec= each
Hk= hook
Inc= increase
Lp( s) = loop(s)
Pm= place marker
Rep=repeat
Rnd(s)= round(s)
Rs= right side
Sc(s)= single crochet(s)
ScF= single crochet foundation
Sk= skip or skiped
Sl st= slip stitch
St(s)=stitch(es)
Tog= together
WS= wrong side
YO= yarn over

Instructions:

Start: 6 sc foundation , or if you like ch 7,
Row 1: ch 1, 2sc in 1st sc, 1 sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc .(do not turn and work down side of foundation ).

R0w 1: 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc ( 16 sc total). Place marker.

(work only upper side of ch, 2sc in 1st ch, sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in last ch, work down side of ch, 2 cs in last ch ( 4 sc in 6th ch) , sc in next 4 ch and 2 sc in last ch, 16 sc.)
Row 2: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2sc in next sc ( 8 sts), 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in last sc, (8sts, 16 sts total).
Row 3 to 9: sc evenly around in next 7 rounds.
Row 10: 2 sc in 1st sc , sc in next 8 sc, 2sc in next sc, 2sc in next sc, sc in next 8 sc, 2 sc in next sc ( 24 sc).

Row 11 to 16 (18, 20) sc evenly around the slipper. 6 ( 8, 10 deppend on foot size ) rounds.
you have 12 sc on upper ( foot side) and down ( sole side) 24sts total.
Row 17: sc in next 4 sts ( from marker ) , ch 1 turn, sc in next 4 sts, sc in next 12 sts ( sole), sc in 4 sts, ch 1, turn.
Row 18: sc in ea sc ( 20 sts ).

Row 19, 20 and 21 : Repeat row 18.

Row 22 : sc in next 6 sc, sc decrease 4 times, sc in next 6 sc ( 16 sts).
Row 23 : sc in ea st. ( 16 st).ch1, turn.
Row 24: Turn the ws out and fold the work in 2 parts, sl st bind off in ea sc.
Use matching color yarn.

EDGE: Sl st in back side of slipper, ch 1, sc around and join with sl st in 1st sc. Ch 3, sc in same st, ch 1, skip next sc and sc in next sc, repeat around, sl st in 1st ch. Cut yarn and weave in.
Strap: Ch 3, sl st in 1st ch, ch 3 and 10 dc in the ring, ch 123, sl st in 3rd ch, ch 3, 10 dc in the ring.

KUFI / CAP

I made this crochet kufi/ cap for my husband . I use the tapestry crochet technique for changing colors.
















Cotton yarn : Light brown, Brown 1 ball each, 50 g or color you like. (8/4)
Crochet hook nr: 4mm. I used hook nr 4mm but that is not a large size hook its look like nr 2.50 mm and 3 mm. ( see in fhoto).

















Chain: ch
Single crochet: sc,
Slip stich: sl st.
Increase: inc.
Decrease: dec.
Continue : cont.
Light brown: A
Brown : B
You can use one size small or large hook and do more increase or decrease sts rounds to fit the size.
For colore change, always use tapestry crochet technique. When you have 2 loops on hook ,pull the new color and sc with new color and keep doing like this technique and try to carry yarn like this technique .



















This cap is worked in spiral so place marker to find the start.
Chain 5 sl st in 1st ch to make a ring, with color A.
Row 1: 8 Sc in the ring.
Row 2: A 2 sc in ea. Sc ( 16 sc) while carrying color b.
Row 3: a, 2 sc in 1st sc, b, 1 sc in ea. next 2 sc, a 2 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, b, 1 sc in Next 2 sc , a, 2 sc in each next 2 sc and continue ( 8sc incre)24 sts
Row 4: a, 2 sc in 1st sc, b, 1 sc in eac next 4 sc, a, 2 sc in each next 2 sc. Cont. like this to end (32 sts).
Row, 5,6 and 7 : cont. like this , incr. sts with a, and follow the pattern with b. At the end of row 7 there are 10 sc in color b ( 56 sc)
Rpw 8: a, 2 sc in 1st sc, b, 1 sc in next 5 sc, a, 1 sc in next 2 sc, b, 1 sc in eac next 5 sc, a 2 sc in eac. Next 2 sc, cont. ( 64 sc).
Row 9, 10, 11 and 12 cont. the same incr. sc and follow the pattern while changing the color after following pattern. At the end of 12th row the pattern should be like this, a 2sc in 1st sc, 1sc in eac. Next 5 sc, a 1 sc in each next 10 sc, b 1 sc in each next 5 sc and a 2sc in each next 2 sc. ( 96 sc).
